What You'll Do
In this exciting new role, you will drive new Services Sales business for the Digital Transformation Services organization within Cisco Advanced Services.
Core responsibilities fall into these three areas:
1. Identify transformational opportunities and position Cisco as the strategic solution provider:
Understand key insights from market transitions, trends, and customer
strategies. Work closely with Cisco account teams, the DTG team, partners, and
other extended teams to identify and
prioritize opportunities. Collaborate with these teams to plan and
execute the pre-sales engagement process and provide the subject matter
expertise to gain Cisco credibility with the customer and partners.
2. Lead visionary discussions and position innovative IOT solutions:
Through a consultative approach, create a vision for the customer's
digitization strategy. Work with customer executive, IT, and operational (OT)
teams to drive long term strategic thinking and plot solution roadmaps. Provide
customer requirements to deliver cross-architectural, transformational, and innovative
solutions. Partner with other Cisco teams and external partners to enhance
customer value and outcomes.
3. Scope and Close Solution Deals:
Leverage pre-sales activities to define the scope of the products and services
for customer engagements. Work with IOT delivery leads, solution architects,
and engineers to determine services scope and coordinate with other Cisco AS
delivery teams to identify necessary resources. Build and present proposals and
Statements of Work to customers, support Cisco Account teams in the sales
process to book solutions deals.
Who You'll Work With
The Digital Transformation Services team is responsible for supporting our customers and partners by delivering key business outcomes through consulting and advisory services, design and implementation of innovative solutions, and integration of third-party technology and solutions. Our cross-architecture expertise incorporates analytics, network technologies, security, wireless, collaboration, and data center.
Who You Are
You have demonstrated experience in selling, architecting, implementing, and consulting with respect to large, multi-technology solutions in various vertical industry domains. You have a clear understanding of a solution selling approach and are comfortable working in a matrixed environment. You have demonstrated experience providing solutions in industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing, utilities, energy, mining, chemical), healthcare, or other IoT and IIoT domains as applicable. You have demonstrated experience working with multiple technology architectures and engineering domains, especially networking-based solutions, and are familiar with Cisco technologies (including Cisco's products and services). You have the ability to successfully lead and manage multiple complex activities and major cross-functional initiatives. You engage with confidence and credibility with senior executives at Cisco, customers, and partners.
Our minimum requirements are the following:
* BA/BS degree or equivalent with at least 10 years related experience in
a customer-facing, consulting and/or solutions provider role
* Consultative services sales and/or delivery
* Demonstrated track record in solution sales and business development
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Demonstrated customer, field and partner relationship management abilities
