What You'll Do Lead a team of engineers and project managers to transform delivery.  Collaboration with sales counterparts to drive growth.  Influence customer decision making. Cloud advisor who is able to connect this rapidly changing technology environment with the executive agenda of our clients applying her/his strong business acumen. The Cloud Advisor will consider equally Cisco's solutions and technology as the general market trends and offerings.

Trusted cloud advisors will form one of the spearhead initiatives to further Cisco's relevance in this market, and may enable further commercial success for Cisco.  
Who You Are Consulting experience 10+ years IT professional services experience, 5+ years consulting experience. Able to lead a client-facing consulting engagement, demonstrated consulting business building / selling  Excellent communication and presentation skills at executive level  Can link technological change to business and economic impact Self Starter, able to structure, prioritize and getting results in the midst of constant change Comfortable in managing complex client dynamics and the client interface Diplomatic collaborator within multi-stakeholder client environments, as well as inside of Cisco and with partners Expectation of up to 80% travel Awareness and articulation of cloud and data center market trends, customer needs, main competitors, commercial benchmarks in order to explain cloud macro trends and business implications at executive level Develop and deliver professional services enabling Cisco customers IT agility through the adoption, creation, transition, maintenance or optimization of Devops concepts and Cloud environments. Awareness of the stages an organization goes through during transformation - vision, strategy, migration (discovery, planning, and execution), and operation.  Three customer references who can be called  Minimum Qualifications Technical experience Credible in a technical discussion at executive and with expert support at technical level Experience in large scale Cloud service design, migration & implementation. Expertise in planning, developing, building and operating Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Docker, Openstack, or VMWare) a must Demonstrated solid grounding in Cloud Software environments in an area of choice Working knowledge of leverage and integration of Cloud services such as ServiceNow,  PagerDuty,  Apptio, Tableau   Desired Skills Recognized in the market as speaker, author, publisher of white papers in this expertise area. Business and Technical Cloud adoption best practices A network of first line executive contacts to build business with ITIL, IT4IT, TOGAF or Scrum  (Master or Product Owner,etc.) certification Experience with open source tools for increased security, reliability and performance Working knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) development including Openstack Neutron and OpenvSwitch, Openflow, networking virtualization, and KVM/Linux networking.
