What You'll Do 
You'll be a part of the Analytics and Research team, which provides key insights that lead to better decisions, simplifies the complexity and volume of information available to leaders, provides data expertise at the right time, gives a voice to the entire employee base, and provides understanding of team and leader journeys and events. Cisco is looking for a Data Analyst to help find and share these insights as we unlock the potential of teams and team leaders. You will use Natural Language Processing and Text Analytics to drive employee sentiment analysis and deliver insights to business leaders. you will be applying data analytics and reporting to solve a variety of business and people challenges and deliver the data insights to achieve measurable business outcomes.

Who You Are 
You've got the experience and the ability to understand a data landscape, identify unique insights through analysis, summarize findings for broad audiences and have the experience and passion around analysis of structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data. You will be motivated to work individually and as part of a team, organized and detail oriented with the ability to validate your own work and have good communication skills, so you can explain complex findings and approaches to untechnical or junior-level audience. Very helpful experience in this role would include, Previous experience with Kanjoya (now Ultimate Software) for natural language processing, advanced analytics such as Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA), and an understanding of I/O Psychology. 

Our minimum requirements for this role: 
• A Bachelors OR a Masters (preferred) in Analytics, Business, or Psychology, with 2+ years of relevant experience. 
• Proven ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data 
• Ability to do statistical analysis in R or SAS 
• Proven experience using data visualization to tell compelling stories with data 
• Curiosity and propensity to experiment
