What You’ll Do
You’ll have the unique opportunity and key challenges to manage the full cycle of accounting and compliance support of various acquired entities until the entities are fully integrated into normal Cisco ERPs and processes. You will be in charge of month end close, financial reporting, US GAAP and local GAAP compliance. You should ensure all activities related to the non-integrated entities under your scope are performed successfully and reported in a timely manner, being the coordinator and responsible for accounting, tax compliance, revenue recognition, drive process change and any other activities that may be required until entity liquidation and disablement. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience by interacting with many different organizations and functional groups as well as getting a detailed understanding of end-to-end accounting processes.
Who You’ll Work With
You will join Acquisition Accounting team (AAT) which is a part of Corporate Controllers Group. Our team covers all accounting functions and interacts with large global, multi-functional teams including Tax, Legal, Treasury, Operations, Services, etc. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and visibility within many different organizations, functional groups as well as getting a detailed understanding of end-to-end accounting processes. Your focus is on driving the integration process while ensuring accurate and timely accounting, tax compliance (using various legacy accounting systems} and strict financial compliance.

You will be focused on ‘getting the job done’ accurately and on time, while delivering the outcomes in, sometimes a tight turnaround. You are a motivated self-starter, highly detailed, flexible and open minded with a critical mindset. You are interested in increasing productivity, driving process improvements and able to explain the data is being presented. You have excellent collaborative skills to build strong relationships and act as a reliable consultant to the business partners and other team members. Having Public Accounting Experience, a CPA and Acquisition Experience is highly preferred.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
· A Bachelors in Accounting (or similar) with 7+ years of hands on Accounting experience (i.e. Month End Close, Reporting, US/Local GAAP Compliance, Revenue Recognition, Auditing etc...).
· Flexible and willing to put forth extra effort during monthly close processes, when needed.
· Excellent communications skills, written, oral and ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.
