What You'll Do

  • You will provide excellent troubleshooting and consultative methodologies to independently solve problems in broad, complex & rare networks with mixed media & protocols as well as advising on design and implementation of these complex networks on site at Cisco with the customer.
  • Excellent level proficiency and associated experience supporting Cisco network products and protocols as well as command of executional standard methodologies - (R&S, Data Center, and Security)
  • Dedicated network architecture SME supporting rare customized customer environment; Technical POC for problem management and raised issue resolution; management and sustainment of customized solution lab environment
  • Validate and implementation support of newly introduced services and network expansion; planning, documenting, executing scheduled Change Management tasks
  • Provide support to internal and external customers during critical service related issues acting as the lead Cisco point of Contact. Has ability and knowledge of all Cisco resources and can effectively collaborate with them
  • Ability to get to an understanding of customer expectations and manage or set proper expectations all while keeping the customer experience top of mind
  • Senior engineering resource aligned to 24/7 team supporting customer critical environments

The team focuses on 24/7 remote managed services that meet the unique requirements of this targeted customer set. You will have the opportunity to directly support unique solutions to meet these unique requirements. You will be flexible to a dynamic environment while helping our customers transform to meet their mission needs.


Who You Are

  • 7+ years' experience applying domain expertise while supporting and fixing applications and networks within large enterprise environments
  • 5+ years experience using Cisco tools and procedures
  • Sole US Citizenship with active Secret or above US Government Security Clearance
  • Superb communication skills - both oral and written
  • Cisco and or Industry Certification qualifying level of technical expertise obtained (CCIE, JNCIE, etc.)
  • Experience in a customer facing support role
  • Shown Leadership Experience
  • Shown crisis management skills.
  • Analytical skills to perform effective troubleshooting
  • Act as part of a team but ability to operate independently
