What You'll Do
You'll help us enable compliant change at Cisco, both in terms of new business models / offer structures and also in terms of the countries where we contract and transact business locally.

The Global Tax & Customs (GTC) organization seeks a transformation-minded resource who understands the intersection between business and IT, can assess impacts, proactively spot gaps, and can drive resolution and decision making.

You will help drive key strategic outcomes for Cisco.


Who You'll Work With
Our team works with experienced international tax and customs professionals around the globe covering all functional areas within GTC – Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Customs, Tax Compliance, Program Management Office, and IT.  Your interactions will not be limited to Finance functions only. You’ll have significant interactions with Supply Chain, Services, Commerce, and Sales. 


You will report to a GTC Director who is accountable for transformational program capability enablement and you will have moderate exposure to other Lead Staff (Director and above) within the organization.


Who You Are
You've got experience in transformational and cross functional projects. You are an effective communicator.  You have demonstrated an ability to identify issues, solve problems, negotiate outcomes, and lead disparate groups through execution.

Our minimum requirements for this role:
• BS in Finance and 7+ years related field experience

• Seasoned Finance professional with working knowledge of tax, customs or related compliance
• Business process architecture experience

• Program Management experience, ideally in cross-functional roles
• Ability to perform capability impact fit/gap assessments
• Ability to articulate and translate strategy into clear goals and initiatives, and analyze situations and opportunities with a broad strategic view
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, productive relationships and negotiate with others in order to reach mutually satisfying agreements
• Ability to influence upward, downward and laterally in cross-functional environments.

• Knowledge and understanding of effective change management models, practices, and program methodologies
• Ability to work independently and participate with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
• Experience working with virtual teams
