Who You'll Work With

The Business Operations and Reporting Group in Cloud Managed Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to play a vital role in supporting our managed services business. The business analyst will have a key role in the delivery & execution of financial & operational requirements as needed by the business. The position will interact with Cisco managers and staff to provide key deliverables in vendor procurement transactions, including purchase orders, accruals, issuance, processing, and support.


What You'll Do

The business analyst responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:

·       Own and manage all transactions for vendor spend activities and process

·       Initiate purchase requisitions as requested by the business, track to approval, process renewals, and determine the amortization of the open purchase orders.

·       Close PO’s that have completed billing each month.

·       Track any credits due from vendors per Senior Leadership Team and managers

·       Support monthly open PO accruals by reaching out to managers on a regular basis to keep up-to-date on the actual amount to be expensed monthly.

·       Support the accrual sheet submission process to CMS finance monthly

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce the regular reports, as needed

·       Compile data from various sources into a single, consumable, data set for business analysis and performance measurement.

·       Work cross-functionally with other business operations teams on process evolution and process improvement initiatives.

 

Who You Are 

·       BA/BS degree with related experience in business with finance, management, or MIS focus.

·       Strong mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, Business Objects, and other financial tools. Experience with Oracle Projects, databases, and business reporting tools a plus.

·       Must have experience in participating as a key member in a cross-functional team and/or international projects or programs of high complexity.

·       Experience and understanding of a service or finance organization, its processes, and its policies are a strong plus. Including knowledge of back office systems to support the business.
