What You'll Do
You will become the Wireless FP&A lead who is responsible for helping drive profitable growth in the Wireless Business Unit in-partnership with the Wireless Controller and the Product Management team ($2.5B top-line annually). The key activities you will be responsible for, include long-term & short-term planning, maximizing profitable growth, leading activities intended to yield margin expansion, ensuring Controllership & Compliance, providing leadership for execution as well as to promote growth.

You will:

  • Be FP&A lead for the Long range, Fiscal year, Quarterly Business Review processes for the Wireless BU. Manage the associated planning models and assumptions on forecast drivers to provide business insight while ensuring that forecast is relevant.
  • Drive initiatives intended to result in improved growth and/or margin expansion in-partnership with Wireless BU product management and associated cross-functional teams.
  • Engage to provide strategic business support while driving higher expectations for accountability leveraging a deep understanding of the business model and market environment. Includes a continuous focus on evaluating and developing new business models.  
  • Partner with Enterprise Segment finance and central BTOF teams for purposes of consolidation & reporting. Align with and become the focal point for all FP&A communications related to the Wireless BU.
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of the business.
  • Influence change across the Enterprise Segment and other broad areas of Cisco, by working with and leading a number of key continuous improvement initiatives.

The Finance team is focused on maximizing profitable growth, accelerating analytics to drive portfolio decisions and profitability, driving productivity and alignment across the organization, and expanding the breadth of financial expertise.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • A Bachelors' Degree in Finance or Business related field and 5+ years related Finance experience, with 3+ of those years with exposure to P&L concepts, within short and long term horizons.
  • Excellent written and verbal leadership communication skills
  • Process orientation and ability to create capacity through process innovation
  • Ability to assimilate multiple data points into consolidated, completed work product
  • Solid prioritization skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to drive to a result
