What You'll Do

As a Pricing Strategy Manager, you will drive company-wide pricing initiatives to enable profitable growth and will have the opportunity to play a key role in defining the list price strategies associated with major product areas and the price execution alignment for various GTM models.

More specifically:

* You will provide pricing expertise to Product Management teams which will drive the target life-cycle pricing recommendations & actions, the portfolio line up and drive price performance reviews.
* You will lead monthly price forecasting interlocks with the Business Entity teams
* You will drive Enterprise Licensing and Strategic SW agreements structuring and pricing alongside account teams

Who You'll Work With

You will be working with partners in Development (Engineering), Sales and Finance on strategic pricing initiatives. This role will provide broad business exposure include working with the leadership teams across the various Cisco businesses

The Business Technology and Operations Finance organization partners with leaders in Engineering and Operational Functions to build strong shareholder value through strategic long-range planning, new business development, forecasting and budgeting. Exciting changes are happening within the Cisco Finance organization as we shift to become even more passionate about our business partners and drive major groundbreaking initiatives in the way we operate. This role provides an opportunity to work very close with the leaders responsible for these changes. It is an excellent opportunity to have firsthand knowledge of the priorities of the Finance organization.

Who You Are

You are a big picture, strategic thinker with hypothesis driven, structured analytical approaches. You have excellent written, presentation and verbal communication, all the way up to the senior executive level. You're able to work independently, work with-in ambiguous environment, and meet deadlines in an energizing environment, where you are passionate about results. You are able to quickly ramp up and learn new subject matters, so you can drive relevancy to business partner interactions where you would be able to operate in our highly complex, cross-functional organization structure to drive direction, decision-making, and priorities.

At a minimum, we require:

* You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business related field + 7 years related Finance Experience.
* You have experience/exposure to pricing strategy transformations, with 2+ years of product related pricing experience desired.
* You have a deep understanding and strong spreadsheet modeling and analysis skills, with the ability to extract key insights.
* You will need to strategically plan to produce the change required to achieve end-state visions/objectives, while, balancing strategic and tactical considerations for achievable milestone progress and business benefit.

Desired Skills

* You hold an MBA from top tier business school with 3+ years of post-degree experience, as well as High-Tech industry experience (hardware and software).
* You have Strategy/Management Consulting or Investment Banking experience.
* You understand and have negotiation, influencing, and conflict mediation skills which support rapid decision resolution.
