What You’ll Do

You will drive the portfolio strategy and execution roadmap for Cisco’s software support business, aligning with Cisco’s shift to software-led and subscription business models, encompassing billions of dollars in revenue. You will also lead our initiative for the Technical Services business focused on digital transformation. You will work across the company’s product management, engineering, and support organizations to evolve our approach to delivering support services. You will engage with sales, partners and customers to drive the strategy and value proposition of Cisco’s monetization strategy. You’ll play a significant role in leading Cisco’s transformation to accelerate the pace of innovation, increase the value of the network, and deliver our technology in the way customers want to consume.

You Will

  • Develop value propositions and messaging to address customer, partner, analyst, press, and employee audiences
  • Define new offers to monetize services within our subscription and SaaS-based offerings
  • Define support requirements and policies through customer interaction, market research, quantitative sizing, competitive analysis, and by working with sales and partners
  • Analyze Cisco’s software support services portfolio and design strategies to increase the monetization of these services within Cisco’s new software-led business strategy
  • Capture and communicate requirements for a digital services delivery platform including UI, connected product features and analytics.
  • Understand the financial performance of the services portfolio and monitor progress as it evolves
  • Represent Cisco at executive briefings, industry trade shows, sales meetings, advisory boards, and Cisco events by conveying our support strategy and portfolio approach; use these connections to advance the software business

Reporting into the leader of the Technical Services product management team, you will join a team of bright, dedicated, innovative, and results oriented individuals to transform the way software is packaged, sold, serviced and consumed across our entire portfolio. You will drive change within one of the most respected technology companies in Silicon Valley.

Who You Are

You have a bachelors degree in any discipline where problem solving and deep thinking is evident. You have your MBA with 10+ years of leadership experience in a technology company.

Our minimum requirements are the following:

  • Bachelors degree; MBA preferable
  • 10-15 years leadership experience in high-tech environments, preferably software or networking systems
  • Direct experience defining technical support strategies within other Fortune 500 customer; desirable to have management consulting background
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
