The Industry Solutions Group (ISG) Architecture team is looking for a high-energy, experienced Industry Architect to join our team to help Cisco manage a portfolio of world-class solutions using a customer in perspective specifically focused on our Manufacturing customers.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Global Vertical Architect Lead the Vertical Solution Architect's primary objective is to manage the ecosystem of internal constituents to define a customer centric Point of View (POV) and manage cross functionally the portfolio of architectures/solutions that enable our Manufacturing customers to transform the way they digitize their business and drive differentiated outcomes.

The Vertical Solutions Architect builds and maintains ongoing relationships with technology stakeholders across customers, partners and account teams. In addition, the Vertical Solutions Architect will use their engagement experience and subject matter expertise to drive greater solution scale through managing the development of relevant sales collateral and presentations on all things in their field of expertize Retail, Energy, Manufacturing, etc..

Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Direct the definition of Point(s) of View and technical considerations on how Cisco's platform can assist our customers in transforming the way they work, live, play or learn leveraging Cisco Industry solutions.

* Experience with global Manufacturing customers at line of business level driving transformational outcomes.
* Articulate Industry perspectives on solution, and business architectural vision to clients
* Identify and orchestrate product development (business unit) resources require to establish roadmaps with enhanced functionality growing the capabilities of our solutions by Industry while increasing the customers' business outcome.
* Collaborate with 3rd party ISVs (Customer and patient Relationship Management Systems, analytics, etc.) and Implementation/consulting partners that are critical to delivering holistic industry solutions to prioritize partnering efforts regionally
* Coordinate with constituents regularly
* Identify customer/market requirements associated with delivering the platform for Industry solutions and communicate Cisco product, solution, and service portfolio gaps to regional leadership
* Mentor field technical management on Customer solutions, platforms, and customer considerations while gathering and focusing the customer centric perspectives for their region/operation.

Who You Are

* A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in an enterprise, solution, application, or information architecture selling role
* Outstanding knowledge and capabilities ideally extending across a broad portfolio of technologies that deliver Customer Outcomes: Wireless, Industrial Networking, Datacenter, Mobility and Security
* Understand and be able to drive customer in perspectives across multiple Cisco product families and 3rd Party technologies, infrastructure and systems within the domains of Digitization: Hyperaware, Informed Decision Making, Fast Execution
* Ability to create and communicate a compelling portfolio vision for senior executives
* Demonstrated experience and applied knowledge in efforts involving the design, development, and implementation of Cisco solutions including advanced services.
* Strong ability to map customer business scenarios to Cisco offerings
* BA/BS in a technical field is required.
* 10+ years of industry experience or equivalent preferred.
