 WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will bring your collaborative skills to the Shared COGS (SCOGS) Finance team. Join as a key member of the SCOGS team supporting our Overhead/OPEX business leaders and also providing overall AS COGS analysis.

 

KEY MONTHLY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE

  • Accurate Headcount and COGS/OPEX forecasts, PR management, and accruals.
  • Driving continuous improvement to our financial support processes that adapt with ongoing business changes.
  • Combine the ability to support day-to-day activities while partnering with key business and finance partners to drive business performance.
  • Engage regularly with AS Operations, AS Delivery, and AS Regional Finance teams.
  • Ensure compliance in all aspects of the business.
 

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be joining Advanced Services Finance, an organization within Sales and Services Finance (SSF), in an Overhead & OPEX support role with in the AS Shared COGS organization. Your team is dynamic and impactful supporting the AS organization and its transformation. The AS Finance team plays a vital role in Cisco's business growth and profitability in our role as key advisors to our delivery business partners.

 

WHO YOU ARE

You are a highly motivated Financial Analyst who is a self-starter strives for continuous improvement. You are able to understand and articulate business drivers to your business partners and the finance team. You are confident, driven, learn quickly and comfortable communicating with partners, internal teams and a variety of levels of leadership.

 

OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field with 2+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proven collaboration, presentation, influencing, and communications skills and ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams at a time.
  • Expense management experience including managing month end and quarter end close processes.
  • Able to succeed in an ambiguous and ever-changing environment, be organized, detailed, results oriented, quickly grasp business needs, strong ability to influence, and is a confident and refined communicator.
  • Advanced Excel skills. Also highly desired: * MBA/CPA * Experience with Cisco Finance applications including Plan-It, SI2000, FIN BI/BO and Hyperion Essbase
