What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for defining the security services strategy, initiating business development, and selling the breadth of Security Services (Advisory, Implementation, Managed); to do this, you will continuously educate yourself on the market, emerging trends, and industry-specific events. Service Sales Account Managers have solid knowledge of the enterprise security, risk management, and compliance services market and key problem areas. This role requires a strong commitment to Customer satisfaction and a passion for taking initiative to lead and grow the territory. You will partner closely with the delivery team to ensure successful engagements and overall Customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Define strategy and tactical plans to grow the territory for security services, partnered with the Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO)
  • Team with Business Development Manager and Principal consultant assigned to territory. Territory and account strategy developed between SSAM, BDM and Principal
  • Understand the services portfolio at a detailed level, and stay current in relevant new areas (i.e., standards, regulations, security threats, analysts’ commentary, competition)
  • Conduct business development activities
  • Maintain a sales territory and a set of target accounts
  • Identify and participate in local network and industry relevant events
  • Manage Customer relationships; as Customer advisor on security, risk, and compliance related concerns
  • Help define customer needs and frame solutions to business, regulatory, and/or standards-based enterprise challenges
  • Specific vertical expertise is a plus; target industries include technology, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, power and energy, and healthcare, among others
  • Work closely with delivery team to identify extensions to current Customer engagements

Who You’ll Work With

The Service Sales Account Managers operate as territory CEOs for Security Services (Advisory, Implementation and Managed), growing their assigned territory by partnering with the Global Security Sales Organization, Account Teams and Service Sales teams leveraging existing relationships and consultative sales techniques to “land and expand” within top accounts in the region. This approach allows security solutions (Services & Product) to be positioned and consumed by Customers, resulting in more strategic, longer term engagements.

Who You Are

You are a strong leader with demonstrated ability to self-manage. You have team selling experience and are collaborative in nature. You have strong presentation skills and experience presenting to different functional roles.

Our minimum qualifications are the following:

  • Minimum of seven years of experience with consultative sales, selling enterprise security and/or risk services
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in building Customer relationships and closing business in a product, or preferably, services organization
  • Exemplary command of the English language, both oral and written
  • Experience in strategic planning, defining strategic account plans for key accounts
  • Certifications (preferred, but not required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology domain, with experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Information Security and/or Information Technology
