WHAT YOU'LL DO You will be responsible to analyze and interpret financial trends and metrics to help drive strategic decision-making such as headcount affordability, while assisting in implementing process, system and tool improvements that will make reporting more efficient MORE SPECIFICALLY:

  • You will manage the Monthly/Quarterly close activities, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and ad hoc responsibilities for operations leaders.
  • You'll manage the Yearly/Quarterly Budget/Commit planning processes for the operations functions assigned.
  • You will perform quarterly SOX segregation of duties and restricted access control testing, working with business partners to ensure compliance.
  • You'll build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with key managers across all levels of the Operations, Finance organizations, Business Partners, H/R, Procurement, etc...

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH Operations Finance is seeking a Financial Analyst to help manage financial reporting within Gilles Leyrat’s organization. This finance role is an excellent opportunity to financially and operationally support critical groups within the Operations Team. The BTOF organization partners with leaders in Engineering and Operational Functions to build strong shareholder value through strategic long-range planning, new business development, forecasting and budgeting. Exciting changes are happening within the Cisco Finance organization as we shift to become even more passionate about our business partners and drive major groundbreaking initiatives in the way we operate. This role provides an opportunity to work very close with the leaders responsible for these changes.

WHO YOU ARE You will bring with you good interpersonal skills with the ability to convey the key points of complex topics in a concise manner to the Leadership team, the ability to prioritize multiple requests / work under tight deadlines and be flexible in order to adapt to a variety of situations and tasks and work independently. OUR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE, ARE:

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 4+ years related experience (MBA/CPA preferred)
  • You have a Deep understanding of GAAP such as Prepaid accounts & Accrual requirements.
  • You have a strong financial analytic & general technical skills such as Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint and familiarity with Cisco financial tools (i.e. FETCH, Systems Integrator, Khalix Plan It, FINABC, etc.)
