Who You'll Work With

The Cisco Managed Services (CMS) Program Management Office is seeking an outstanding Project Manager to drive new and existing projects to fruition. The successful candidate will be responsible for all project aspects, including developing and maintaining specific project plan, stakeholder analysis and management plan, leadership action planning (communications, roadshows), program website, documentation library, newsletters, branding of the program and interlock with Cisco Leadership, project & program management, and Change management leads.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced changing environment with a take-charge attitude and is able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency. They should have strong people skills and be able to work with multiple complex cross-functional teams. The successful candidate must be self-sufficient and be able to lead with very little supervision.

Who You Are

Project Management


  • 7-10 years project and/or program management experience, preferred      

Assist in building a communications strategy approach that supports program goals and objectives

·       Develop or guide the development of creative and high quality communications with high impact results that leave a lasting effect

·       Assist in developing a list of stakeholders impacted by new capabilities, which will be leveraged by PMO Leads

·       Support and drive the program communication plan, working across the program, level, orgs to deliver targeted messages around program

·       Demonstrated experience using proven communication tools/methodologies

·       Superior business/technical writing and editing skills

·       Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills

Collaboration:

·       Develop an effective, collaborative working relationship with cross-functional company program leads, business leadership, and stakeholders

·       Consult with management on an ongoing basis to ensure alignment of program goals, business priorities and messaging
Leadership

·       Strong business acumen

·       Show leadership through influence and collaboration

·       Demonstrate the ability to build constructive business relationships and gain the trust of others

·       Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to navigate organizations and people through large-scale change
Experience

·       Foundational communication management experience

·       Experience contributing at a significant level in portfolio management preferred

·       Cisco experience preferred

·       The ability to manage communication for large complex, global projects is critical


Education

·       BS/BA

·       MBA a plus

·       PMP is a plus
