What You'll Do

You will partner with org leaders throughout company to ensure financial transparency and accountability for department spend.

  • You will prepare reports and projections based on analyses and compilations of different data sources
  • You'll maintain/manage the Excel tools that are business critical
  • You will assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting and analyze current and past financial data and performance and variances between actuals, forecast, and plan.
  • You'll provide support in ad-hoc internal and external information requests
  • You will help integrate and transition internal financials/data to Cisco ERP systems

As part of Cisco's OpenDNS, you’ll be joining a finance team that has hands-on impact on the growth of the business. This close-knit team interacts with all aspects of the company and is at the forefront of the integration of OpenDNS and Cisco Systems.

Who You Are

You are a great teammate, as this is a highly collaborative and supportive team environment. You understanding of the financial statements and how they are inter-related and are proficient with numerical analysis.

The minimum requirements for this role:

  • You hold a Bachelors' Degree Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar, with 4+ years related work experience
  • You have previously work at an investment bank, consultant firm or technology company
  • You have advanced Excel skills (Macros, Modeling and Accruals) 

Desired Skills

  • SQL skills - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role
  • VBA knowledge preferred but not required
  • Financial ERP experience (Anaplan, Adaptive, Essbase) 
  • Experience in a SaaS company 
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
