What You'll Do:

The Cisco Advanced Services organization helps customers optimize their IT and network investment and drives the adoption of technologies and business solutions. A key component of the Cisco service portfolio is our Project and Program Management capability and expertise. In this leadership role you will be responsible for the leadership of the PMO supporting all of GSP Americas + Latin America Enterprise, ensuring alignment with Cisco and Customer business goals, objectives and priorities.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Defining and aligning services strategy with other stakeholders (e.g. AS Delivery and Sales leadership in region),
  • Leading the services programs within budgeted costs, talent development/evolution, ensuring consistency with global processes
  • Driving industry leading program management discipline to provide value differentiation for Cisco AS customers.

You will lead the GSP based team consisting of PMO Leads and Program/Project Managers and report into the Global lead for PMO.

Who You'll Work With:

The team will be responsible for the successful management of a large Advanced Services portfolio of complex and challenging projects. Team members will also be responsible for working as part of Program teams managing large, complex customer Programs and System Integration (SI) engagements.

The PMO is responsible for the successful delivery of customer projects and programs, ensuring customer acceptance criteria are achieved and that the project meets or exceeds the expected Cisco business results (cost, margin, revenue, customer satisfaction and compliance metrics). The team is also required to provide domain expertise support for pre sales opportunities including scoping, sizing and defining delivery models.

Our Minimum Requirements are the following:

  • Experience leading large PMOs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PMI Project Methodology- PMP Certification (or equivalent, such as PRINCE) required
  • Experience of leading large, high-performing regional teams
  • Consistent record of successful Customer Program and/or Project delivery
  • Understanding of Cisco organisation structure, operating model and culture
  • Understanding of Cisco delivery policies, processes and tools
  • Understand the Cisco AS portfolio and Day 2 (operate) support services capabilities and options
  • Stakeholder Management, high personal impact and ability to work across the Cisco organization to align priorities, resources and capabilities with customer needs
  • Clear track record of leadership in accomplishing multi-functional initiatives.
  • Strong technical acumen and a track record for being an early adopter in leveraging new technologies are also critical success factors.
  • Proven customer facing and executive level communication skills
