What You'll Do

This role tracks and manages funding for software & technology investments to maximize ROI and outcomes. It's a great opportunity to learn about key Services' capabilities and how they are funded.

Our fast-paced Financial Operations team needs a motivated, self-starter to play a pivotal role operationalizing SSO's technology investment portfolio. Our organization supports shared resources developing capabilities across Services. You'll help enable this model by:

- engaging with global stakeholders and Finance teams to understand funding priorities

- Leveraging project-based accounting practices to dynamically optimize and redirect spend to strategic growth drivers.

- generating monthly and quarterly financial reports to measure forecast performance against commits.

Who You'll Work With

We partner closely with Finance teams and Technology Investment Leads to understand functional budgets, capability funding expectations, execute key shifts, and report on actual performance.

Our team also collaborates with BE stakeholders and SSO Leadership to ensure value-based customer outcomes are prioritized.

Who You Are

Our new team member has a strong finance background, experience with project accounting practices and knows how to balance the books across multiple funding sources, projects, and organizations.

You are very detailed-  BFFs with MS Excel, and comfortable analyzing spend data to glean insights. You know your way around a crisp, polished PowerPoint deck. Your communication and influencing skills are legendary; and you are adept at managing stakeholders of all levels.

Minimum requirements:

- experience on Operations teams

- More than 5 years finance/accounting experience; OPEX/COGS management preferred

- experience using Cisco financial systems

- Solid understanding of the monthly/ quarterly financial reporting & compliance requirements

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Bachelor's Degree required

- understand program management and change management practices

- Strong work ethic, with a healthy sense of urgency

- Flexible and collaborative team member
