What You'll Do

The Small Business Community Manager will be responsible for the Small Business communities which exist on the Cisco Support Community platform as well as content that is developed for customer consumption. The Small Business Community Manager will provide the following support: 

·     Ensuring customer queries in the community are addressed in a timely manner

·     Liaison with the SSO team regarding issues and development of the Cisco Support Community

·     Engages with content development teams to ensure Cisco-generated content is of the highest quality and is meaningful to our customers

·     Support BU product promotional requirements via community and social media

·     Represent the Cisco brand in the highest regard

·     Works with stakeholders to help forward the Small Business strategy

Who You Are

Candidate Requirements:

·     Basic understanding of Cisco Networking and experience with configuring Cisco Small Business routers, switches, wireless devices, and phones

·     Demonstrated proficiencies with the following protocols:

o   IP, TCP, UDP, ARP, DHCP, DNS

o   VLAN, Spanning Tree, Port Aggregation, Port Mirroring, QoS

·     Experience with SSH and NAT

·     Able to demonstrate a good understanding of network security fundamentals

·     Show that you are a self-starter and can take action to achieve goals that are beyond what is required

·     Ability to practice discretionary decision making (technical and business)

·     Quickly adapts and supports continuous improvement (change management)

·     Excellent listening and communication skills

·     Customer Advocate (balances customer needs with business priorities)

·     Understands empowerment and willing to make decisions with minimal direction from a manager

·     Team player

·     Ability to deliver effective results

·     Ability to transfer knowledge to others and open to receive knowledge from others

·     Excellent problem diagnosis and problem-solving skills in a highly complex environment
