**Role Description**







+ Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead N-E Region, the **Academic Relations Recruitment Manager** will be responsible for leading Graduate, Undergraduate and Apprenticeship placement recruitment campaigns across Pfizer UK Commercial and Research & Development business lines.







+ The **Academic Relations Recruitment Manager** will have direct oversight of these key recruiting programs and will be tasked with ensuring Pfizer has access to source and hire early career talent.







+ They will hold accountability for reviewing, developing, and progressing Pfizer's UK placement campaigns in line with business objectives, future talent needs, and strengthen external reputation in this area.







+ The **Academic Relations Recruitment Manager** will take an active role in managing day to day campaign including planning, sourcing, assessment, and onboarding across the range of programs supported by the company. They will ensure top rate candidate experience whilst simultaneously meeting business needs.







+ In addition, oversight of student work experience programs and direct hire positions along with the opportunity to develop and execute on the diversity and university recruitment strategies for Pfizer.







**Responsibilities:**







+ Facilitate, develop strategy, and/or manage end to end recruitment processes for UK based placement programs to attract talent, including but not limited, to the Graduate, Undergraduate, and Apprenticeship Program.







+ Incorporate diversity recruitment strategies, seeking out opportunity for partnership and participation of business groups (e.g. DICE) with active placement campaign recruitment efforts.







+ Act as a SME to key internal stakeholders to engage and influence consistent/ effective recruitment campaign processes.







+ Create forward looking participation plans in partnership with TA Lead, BOS Client Facing, and Business Leads.







+ Establish and maintain ongoing dialogue with global colleagues to encourage sharing of best practices and identifying opportunities for collaboration and support.







+ Act as point of contact for Universities and Apprenticeship training providers.







+ Stay up to date on external research to analyze and report on key trends, initiatives, competitive activities, and industry best practices.







+ Actively contribute to promoting Pfizer as an employer of choice and driving external recognition of programs e.g. Top 100.







+ Maximise use of employer branding closely linked to Pfizer Employee Value Proposition to attract external talent.







+ Create, develop and execute additional program activities including but not limited to Lunch-And-Learns, professional and social networking activities.







+ Develop effective tracking tools to support providing consistent communication on program effectiveness to business and HR colleagues based on quality, cost, efficiency and feedback.







+ Ensure effective processes (Workday, HireVue) and manage 3rd party vendor relationships where required.







+ Ensure adherence to Pfizer global/ local guidelines and policies.







+ Perform other related tasks as assigned.







**Qualifications (Training, Education & Prior Experience):**



**Education and Training:**



Minimum Educational Qualifications:







+ BS degree in Human Resource, Business, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.







**Experience:**







+ Proven track record of Recruiting experience within a dynamic fast pace environment, preferably incorporating both university and non-university recruitment management experience.



+ Experience working within a matrix business environment, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or FMCG industries.



+ Successful experience with program and project development and management.



+ Demonstrated experience of successful employer branding use in both internal and external environments.



+ Ability to be a self-starter, to take initiative and to demonstrate leadership across teams and functions.



+ Positive and enthusiastic attitude.



+ Excellent consultative, strategic thinking, problem solving, influence and interpersonal skills.



+ Strong stakeholder engagement/ management skills.



+ Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time.



+ Ability to conduct research, including data collection and reporting methodologies.



+ Ability to interface with all levels of HR and line management and build partnerships with external associations and institutions; networking/alliance building skills.



+ Superior attention to detail and exemplary organizational skills.



+ Strong verbal and written communication skills required; problem solving, results orientation, and organizational agility are also necessary.



+ Must have experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, and social media/networking sites.



+ Ability to perform as per the Pfizer core competencies.
