**PCA Traditional Products Regional Account Director for MN, WI, & IL payer accounts.**







**Role Description**



The Account Director, US Payer & Channel Access is responsible for managing assigned priority accounts. Direct account leadership for Health Plans, Pharmacy Benefit Managers, State Medicaid, and Managed Medicaid. Aligned account responsibility for Medical Groups and Integrated Delivery Systems. Additional responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, developing alternative sources of revenue and identification of competitor and marked activities. Work collaboratively across all internal Pfizer business units to prioritize and link field sales activities with the most important national, regional and local opportunities. To be the partner of choice and trusted advisor to our aligned customer segments.







**Responsibilities**



Using a customer centric approach, leverage Pfizer's size and scope to maximize mutually aligned business objectives across the Specialty and Pfizer portfolio to assigned accounts. Act as a market for both internal and external stakeholders including coordination of all resources necessary to accomplish objectives established for each account. Meet or exceed FY Financial Performance Objectives through coordinating profitable access and performance, informing business strategies with customer and market insights across BU Stakeholders.



Maintain and/or improve profitable formulary access across our Pfizer Portfolio Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e. State Directors, Regional Managers and GBU leaders) to identify effective pull-through initiatives for assigned accounts; Accordingly, partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a successful communication rollout of strategy to the field force







**Qualifications**



BA/BS Degree required. MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred.



5-10 years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience preferred with at least two years spent in a promoted position and/or developmental role with demonstrated leadership across peer and manager groups.



Experience working with key thought leaders or high influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations preferred.







Strong organizational and analytical skills are also required and ability to analyze and draw appropriate conclusions using sales data/call reporting software/applications and able to adapt to Pfizer's long range technology model in bringing Pfizer information to market.







Previous supervisory experience preferred and ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and deliver on Pfizer business imperatives are necessary to be successful in this role.







This position will require travel as needed to develop internal and external relationships.
