Position Description

Here’s where you come in. As an Account Executive on key accounts, you'll identify and secure the business of new, fully and self-insured accounts in the 51-3,000 employee range. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong broker/consultant and internal relationships and add consultation as necessary
  • Identify key brokers/consultants for management development and understand medical operations/strategies
  • Understand financing methodologies and strategies (fully insured)
  • Know underwriting principles and practices as well as the drivers of fees and liabilities
In this role, you’ll need to be hungry for the thrill of the hunt and resilient in working through challenges. You'll need to conceptualize effectively, communicate clearly and earn credibility within a demanding business environment. It’s not for everyone, but for those with a sense of purpose and determination, this is an excellent opportunity.
 
We have three positions available as we build out our MN health plan.
Required Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales or account mgt role within the insurance industry (commercial medical benefits) 
  • 5+ years of experience selling health care products through direct sales or brokers
  • Sales insurance license maintained by law
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASO sales or account mgt experience
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Existing MN broker relationships
