If you answered yes to the questions above, then KIRO 7 CBS is your employer of choice.  We are looking for an Account Executive with a proven track record of developing new business and growing key accounts.

The Account Executive is responsible for generating media revenue to meet or exceed predetermined goals. You will create revenue by working collaboratively with Local Sales Managers, making sales presentations and directly selling to key primary and secondary accounts as assigned. You will service and secure mutually beneficial relationships with various local businesses, agencies and individuals that have a desire to reach their target audience through various advertising channels and services.

The ideal candidate has solid expertise in:
  • Prospecting
  • Cold calling
  • Determining client needs
  • Proposal development
  • Closing
  • Account maintenance skills
Every KIRO AE will:
  • Prospect for new business and build a full pipeline of sales prospects
  • Create fully integrated, multi-platform campaigns 
  • Oversee campaign execution and analysis
  • Sell our station opportunities including digital, news, sports, station projects & specials
  • Get to the top-level decision makers
  • Deliver unparalleled service, maintenance and follow through
  •  Work collaboratively with internal partners to drive revenue

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year College or University preferred
  • This position requires a minimum 3 years of media sales experience
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills. 
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record required
