 What You'll Do 
We have an exciting Account Manager position open on our team! In this role, you will be able to articulate Cisco's value proposition to the customer and translate Cisco technology products into innovative solution sets with developed and sound business cases that effectively persuade the client to invest in our products and services! 

Check out the details:
* Establish strong consultant-like relationships with the customer in both their business and technical organizations
* Develop and execute both short and long-term engagement model between CDO, the customer, and the account team to create demand for new investment opportunities within Cisco. 
* Assist the account team in defining and articulating the ongoing Cisco value proposition for the Customer. 
* Map to key customer care-abouts and new business opportunities. 
* Co-share responsibility for defining all tactics and strategies to address and mitigate competitive threats against existing Cisco installed base and/or new opportunities. 
* Build effective relationships with the appropriate Cisco Business Units to maximize their exposure to Service Providers and influence their investment to ensure managed service success.
* Collaborate with other members of the team on updates and opportunities

This role will entail calling on Charter Communications and focusing on Cisco's routing, switching and optical business! This is a highly competitive market segment and has achieved year over year growth. 

Who You Are
* BA/ BS required
* 7+ years in Service Provider, Networking or High-Technology Industries preferred
* Experience selling into large Enterprise or Service Providers preferred
* Must be able to work in a fast paced, results oriented organization where leadership, risk-taking, teamwork and commitment to execution are essential and embraced. 
* The ideal candidate will have a clear record of achievement, a willingness to work hard and persevere to make things happen. 
* Team building and the ability to listen, be perceptive of others and the ability to influence are critical personality attributes as is a hands-on, high energy, can-do, highly collaborative style.
* The ability to manage in a matrix management environment, where direct authority over key resources is essential to success
* Self-Motivated, passionate individual that thrives in customer facing sales/business development environment and have experience and success with service creation, business development and go to market execution in carrier environments.
* Must be extremely articulate with strong presentation skills and is comfortable presenting in front of senior level customer audiences and influence their decisions.
* Be able to think outside the box to overcome political or technical objections and have a commanding executive presence and strong interpersonal skills to establish key relationships with the right executive decision makers.
* Must have strong understanding or be able to learn quickly the business and technical aspects and processes associated with bringing to market a managed service solution in a SP environment. 
* Individual must have excellent business acumen and financial skills to be able to effectively translate how investing in Cisco based services will help SP customer achieve their business objectives more effectively than investing in other opportunities.
* Collaboration and Execution focus: ability to collaborate with many cross functional Cisco organizations and where appropriate work independently to execute and deliver results
* Ability to meet and exceed sales revenue targets on a recurring basis through the use of a variety of professional sales techniques.
* The ability to negotiate solutions to issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy required. Must have keen ability to position "end to end" solutions and articulate a primary vendor strategy to senior customer executives is essential.
* Demonstrated knowledge of a process for running a sales territory, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short term, mid-term and long term opportunity management. Must have experience obtaining a quota of $10M+ and able to travel.
