The Account Manager is the face of the Marketing Execution organization, serving as the key point of contact between Marketing Strategy and Marketing Execution. The Account Manager is responsible for proactive project management, communications management, and relationship building. The Account Manager is able to leverage superior relationship management expertise, extensive professional experience, creative problem-solving skills and executional know-how to help deliver marketing programs that are on time and on strategy. This role will collaborate with Strategic Marketing and other business partners to effectively define, resource, and implement delivery of all projects. A flexible and agile approach is essential in this fast-paced environment, as is a drive to work across the organization to deliver for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Strategy, Marketing and business partners.

  • Provide strategic guidance, recommendations and leadership on your client’s business.

  • Lead and monitor day-today activities overseeing multiple complex projects with concurrent deadlines.

  • Collaboratively work with your cross-discipline team to develop and execute strategies that will build the business and define the executional parameters of Marketing projects, including consulting on creative briefs and tactical plans and KPIs 

  • Have a holistic view of clients’ communications plan and work closely with Strategic Marketing team, other Account Managers and Creative to prioritize and schedule planned and unplanned workload, identify any timing or capacity gaps and suggest appropriate alternatives to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Leverage best practices, analytics and learnings from past initiatives, as well as initiatives across Marketing, and serve as a consultative resource to maximize program outcomes.

  • Be the client ambassador and help ensure that Strategy, Creative, Production, Compliance and Fulfillment are informed, focused and motivated and all parties have a common understanding of priorities and expectations.

  • Overall responsibility to deliver flawlessly, ensuring all work is on schedule and on brand.

  • Track progress of projects and campaigns to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Share accountability for the success of the work product as measured by program KPIs.

  • Proactively identify potential issues and escalate appropriately.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar.
• 10 years-experience in an integrated agency or marketing department with a focus on Account Management.
• Equally comfortable leading, collaborating and executing. Able to balance the expectations of Strategy and the realities of execution.
• Demonstrable expertise producing integrated programs spanning digital, direct, print, video and advertising.
• Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven analytical skills.
• Ability to agilely handle heavy workload, mediating many demands and requests with proactive problem solving.
• Able to see the big picture while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Relationship management focus with strong negotiation skills.
• Effective team player.
• Strong process management skills with the ability to think creatively.
• Excellent computer skills (especially with Microsoft Products), familiarity with Workfront is a plus.
• Has a continuous improvement mindset.
