Accounts Payable, Payroll and Finance Liaison – Wyoming Behavioral Institute, Casper, Wyoming

Wyoming Behavioral Institute, a UHS Facility, is seeking a dynamic and talented:

Accounts Payable, Payroll and Finance Liaison

POSITION SUMMARY:  Responsible for accounts payable, payroll and patient financial billing.  Completes reporting, record keeping, processing and documentation for the payroll, A/P and patient financial billing.  Compiles and processes data for budget and financial analysis, and completes special projects as assigned. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:  The work is generally within the designated business office area with some patient interactions which occur on the care floor.  In the completion of duties will sit, stoop, bend, stand, walk short distances, lift boxes and any other necessary materials and lift up to 30 pounds.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Ensures that invoices, billing are coded correctly and signed off by appropriate dept. manager with CFO/CEO approval.
  • Accurately pays invoices and distributes in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance and control over departmental expenses and invoices. 
  • Prepare yearly 1099's to be sent to venders according to IRS regulations.
  • Prepare Quarterly Workman’s Comp/unemployment reports with payment
  • Record and prepare payroll on a bi-weekly basis with a maximum of 1% errors.

  • Completion of FTE Reports by deadlines each week.

  • Work with Human Resources to ensure accurate recording of paid time off and extended leave banks.

  • Monitor accurate PTO accrual

  • Keep up on and develop knowledge of base payroll issues and any HR issues that affect payroll

  • Ensure timely payments of payroll deductions such as garnishments, 401K, United Way, etc.

Other Functions:

  • Assists CFO with projects per directive

  • Reviews Patient accounts and may meet with and advise patients regarding billing or their statement

  • Maintains confidentiality of patients and employees.

  • Treats guests, patients, physicians and other customers with care, courtesy and respect.

  • Consistently anticipates the needs of the customer and puts those needs first.

  • Ensures that documentation meets policies, procedures standards and laws.

  • Demonstrates understanding of patient rights and delivers care in accordance with policies and procedures appropriate for department and duties

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

::

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of related equivalent work experience required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have the ability to learn Mckesson, Lawson, and other needed software.   Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be in good mental health and physical condition and willing to work in psychiatric setting. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
