The ACO Operations Analyst is responsible for performing data analysis to support ACO operations and business objectives. This role requires collaboration with internal and external ACO stakeholders to address process deficiencies and improvement initiatives. Through project-based exposure, the analyst is expected to develop subject matter expertise of application data components. Through research and analysis, the ACO Operations Analyst will provide data-driven insight to resolve issues and inform the strategic direction of the ACO departments.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or analytical discipline. Directly related experience may be substituted for the required degree, on a year-for-year basis.
• 3+ years of experience in related business/data analyst roles, and/or; at least two (2) years of experience within a healthcare, mental health, or long-term care setting 
• Experience in leveraging data to analyze business process and to provide process improvement recommendations

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment
• Ability to perform all job duties in compliance with Person First standards, HIPAA guidelines, and company confidentiality policies
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles, processes, and practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent math and statistical analysis skills
• Ability to plan, schedule, organize, and coordinate activities, processes, and people
• Ability to multitask effectively while performing job duties, including ability to prioritize tasks and ensuring all voice mail and email messages are returned expeditiously

• Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision

• Ability to interact professionally and collegially with a variety of people, including physicians, social service workers, state contract officers, and coworkers
• Intermediate skill with word processing, spreadsheet, statistical tools, presentation, and publish software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Visio)
• Comfortable learning new analytical and reporting systems.


• Medical, claim processing and/or reimbursement policy experience
