As Acquisition Integration Specialist, you will be part of a team that integrates acquired companies and enables a best-in-class experience for employees transitioning into Cisco. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating, planning and scheduling deal announce and close events. 
  • Collaborate with Corporate Events, HR, IT, Workplace Resources, and Safety & Security teams to organize on-boarding events and new employee orientations sessions.
  • Manage the creation, launch, budget and maintenance of the Cisco web portal dedicated to acquired employees
  • Answer new employee questions and/or direct to functional SMEs
  • Order and distribute new employee gifts for celebration events and quarterly Employee Experience award.
  • Provide logistical support for employee training sessions
  • Engage with new Executive Administrators during on-boarding to link them to appropriate community, training, concierge and other services
  • Establish and maintain a program plan and schedule with established project management tools.
  • Attend weekly team calls and document, track and follow-up on action items with cross-functional team members.
  • Administer integration surveys to all acquired employees, analyze and develop reports
  • Participate in the overall Employee Experience team effort to define new ways to enable a best in class experience for acquired employees
  • Help build and develop the Integration Specialist process methodology in order to help scale this capability

In this role, you will work with the industry expert professional focused on the employee experience and many other aspects of acquisition integration. You will also work with leaders from acquired companies as well as newly acquired employees to support their transition. 


Our Minimum Requirements for this Role are:

  • Detail oriented, organized, flexible, collaborative and have an ability to effectively operate in a highly fast- paced, ambiguous and semi- structured environment. 
  • Moves comfortably between tactical, administrative tasks to using creative thinking and problem solving approaches to improve processes and identify new opportunities to support integration and employees.
  • Able to think broad and implement tactically.
  • Builds relationships with peers and higher level management across Cisco, acquired companies, and customers. 
  • Works cross-functionally and navigates challenging political environments.
  • Successful in an unstructured and fast paced team environment and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Resolves issues quickly and efficiently. Comfortable with change and dealing with business ambiguity.
  • Quickly learns and utilizes Cisco productivity tools (WebEx, travel, and expense tools)
  • Has Prior event management and logistics experience
  • Project management experience on projects of small to medium complexity
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills.
  • BS/BA degree completed or in process plus 2-6 years related experience
  • PMP certification a plus
