The 250-bed, is located on 18 acres in San Antonio, Texas. Living units are located at one end of the campus. The facility includes a school building, gymnasium, recreational facility, playgrounds, swimming pool, ROPES (Reality-Oriented Physical Experiential Situation Course), library, computer lab and dining room. We are accepting applications for Activity Therapist (PRN).POSITION PURPOSE: Provides recreation therapy and leisure services as well as experiential therapy to patients. Document provision of services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Programs and facilitates therapeutic recreation and leisure groups, for patients 3 to 99 years of age. 2. Documents provision of services to include assessment of patients and documentation of progress. 3. Assists in PI development. 4. Assisting in maintaining recreational supplies and equipment to include documentation of purchases. 5. Assists in facilitation of groups. 6. Provides the above services during both business & non-business hours.
