Job Description

Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital is searching for a skilled Administrative Coordinator to work directly with the CEO, Administrative team and Medical Staff. PCBH has a wonderful staff with an excellent benefits package available for employees working 20 plus hours per week.

Duties include: 
• Coordinating and maintaining Professional Staff Credentialing for PCBH to assure compliance and JCAHO standards.
• Arranges and coordinates Administrative Council meetings, Department Manager meetings, Clinical Advisory Committee, and Medical Executive meetings and hospital functions.
• Coordinates tours with other facilities.  Arranges travel itineraries for Administration and Medical Staff
• Responds to inquiry calls when Admissions Staff and back up team are unavailable.
* Drafts correspondence, memos, letters, original forms, articles, new correspondence, etc.
• Drafts detailed minutes of Administrative council, Department Manager, Medical Executive, Clinical Advisory Committee, and Governing Board Meetings.
• Handles department check requests, purchase orders, and travel expense reimbursement paperwork.
• Maintains department office supplies.
• Coordinates flow of reports and other information for management and corporate review.

Job Requirements

Full-time position - Day shift - Monday thru Friday
High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in a Administrative Secretary role necessary. Experience working with contracts and credentialing in a health care setting strongly preferred. Individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Excellent oral and written skills are a must.
