The Administrative Assistant to Director of Industry Relations will provide Administrative Assistance to the Director of Industry Relations.

Responsibilities fall primarily into 4 areas:

  1. Manage and process invoices for IR Dept against the assigned G&A budget that comes from both NAB and FLNA. That includes working with IR show coordinators, but also requires collaboration with the finance depts. at NAB and FLNA
  2. Prepare Executive Briefs for major events, like Super Bowl, Restaurant Leadership Conference, NAMA and the Nat. Rest. Assoc. annual conferences
  3. Administer and process T&E reports as well as book travel for manager
  4. Other clerical duties include track various projects throughout the year (i.e. show registration, gathering customers bios, IR AOP matrix)
Additionally the necessary clerical skill sets are needed to perform the job effectively


  • Bachelors Degree preferred, and/or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 yrs. experience as an Administrative Assistant to an Executive
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize work
  • Excellent follow-up and project management abilities
  • Adaptable to rapidly changing environment
  • Creative Problem Solver
  • Solution-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great attention-to-detail
  • Skilled at: SAP, Oracle Access, Advanced PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Word, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard & Concur
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
