The Administrative Coordinator provides support for Reimbursement Department functions.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assists in preparation of regulatory and reimbursement related materials.
  • Supports the department’s Reimbursement dashboard(s).
  • Maintains the department’s Reimbursement Database as well as the Cost Report Settlement log. Performs administrative duties including maintenance of Reimbursement project documentation, resources, plans and reports.
  • Coordinates assigned project schedules and activities. Schedules meetings as needed. Informs necessary parties of deadlines.
  • Obtains information from sources within UHS’s Corporate office and the Acute Care facilities to support the department’s Medicare and Medicaid regulatory and reimbursement related projects.


Associates degree required  with 3 - 5 years' experience, bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated teamwork. Excellent written/oral communication and analytical skills.
  • Excellent skills with MS Office tools (with focus on Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Strong administrative capabilities for follow up and follow through.
  • Professional demeanor for interacting respectfully with hospital senior suite teams and corporate department VP’s and other health finance professionals.
  • Project coordination skills, with ability to help coordinate multiple departmental reimbursement initiatives to realize a common goal.
  • Self-motivated and initiating. Comfortable and productive in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Work effectively in a highly collaborative and open team environment, with willingness to participate in various activities to further goals of the Reimbursement Team.
  • High energy, ability to multi-task and work within tight timelines for delivery of material.
  • Hospital finance related experience preferred.
