Position is responsible for maintaining and or improving Medicare Part C & D ALJ / MAC Timeliness and Fairness Star Ratings. Reviews production and operation reports and resolves problems to prevent Star Ratings failures.  


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Generally work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
  • Analyze and identify trends and provides findings to Management
  • Preparing case position statements
  • Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence , and quality standards
  • Develops plans to meet short - term objectives
  • Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan
  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and / or customers (internal or external)
  • Conduct weekly ALJ Committee meetings.

Requirements:
  • HS Diploma / GED or higher
  • 2+ years of experience working with Medicare Claims and Regulations
  • Understanding of Medicare Regulations
  • Medicare Appeals Experience
Assets:
  • 1+ years of working with Medicare case position statements for presentation to ALJ Hearings
