*Role Description*

The DSRD Massachusetts administrative group provides administrative and business operations support to colleagues at all levels in DSRD Massachusetts (Andover and Cambridge), allowing our scientists to focus on advancing the Pfizer portfolio. Travel and expense reports for all colleagues are provided by the administrative group, who also participate on DSRD teams and identify and execute projects to improve and streamline business practices in DSRD. The DSRD Massachusetts administrative professionals report into a single manager, facilitating workload sharing and collaboration, as well as a focus on individualized professional development. *Responsibilities*

*Responsible for business and operational support for the DSRD colleagues including the Regulatory and Strategy Compliance (RSC) Lead, RSC Leadership team; Therapeutic Area Leaders with Research Units based in Cambridge and other colleagues based in Cambridge.*Demonstrates personal initiative and judgment in managing and prioritizing workload, and delivers business and operational support according to agreed-upon timelines. Ability to negotiate and communicate new timelines as needed.*A continuous improvement mindset-identifies opportunities to streamline work processes, increase efficiencies and identify value-added business contributions to DSRD.*Proactively identifies and resolves potential problems, even in ambiguous situations.*Completes complex assignments independently, delivering high quality administrative and business support.*Encourages collaboration and communication across the DSRD-MA Administrative group and DSRD colleagues in Massachusetts. *Serves as a knowledgeable resource to colleagues at all levels in DSRD. Provides guidance and training to others, and actively participates in their own professional development.



*Qualifications*

Associate degree or equivalent preferredMinimum 5 years administrative experience requiredHigh level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with SharePoint design and use preferred.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Sitting, standing, walkingAbility to utilize computer programs, printers and other standard contemporary office equipmentAbility to multi-task and manage calendars and computer-based applications (travel, expenses, email, spreadsheets, etc.)NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Core hours: 8-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday (some flexibility for personal appointments).Overtime by exception. Minimal travel
