This particular position is for OptumRx for the:

  • State of Tennessee
  • Department of Finance and Administration
  • Division of Health Care Finance and Administration (HCFA)
  • Bureau of TennCare
  • Request for Proposals for Pharmacy Benefit Management

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Technician shall be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting HCFA staff with:
    • TennCare prior authorization appeals
    • Lock-In program and requirements
    • Communications with Pharmacy Advisory Committee PAC and Drug Utilization Review Board members
    • Support facilitation of Board meetings
    • Coordination of TennCare enrollee and Provider mailings and other communications, and any other tasks assigned by the Account Director
    • Some work is completed without established procedures and review by others
    • Supervision / guidance is required for higher level tasks
