Job Description

The Admissions Director serves as a key member of the senior leadership team.  Directs the operations of the Admissions department and the quality of assessment, referral, and admissions activities of the facility through policies, procedures, performance improvement, and the supervision of licensed and non-licensed admissions clinicians. Has oversight of admissions centralized call center at Cedar Ridge and Bethany Behavioral Health, a unit of Cedar Ridge. Performs admissions responsibilities and provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.

Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 116-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, outdoor courtyard and playground.  We are owned by Universal Health Services. Job Requirements

Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population required, preferably in an inpatient setting. 1-2 years management experience required.  Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Human Services field required. Current certification or licensure by the State of Oklahoma (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), or license eligible preferred.
