Advanced resources such as certified trauma care support TMC's role as a regional specialty center.  Position responsible to coordinate on-site and off-campus initial screening assessments for potential facility patients.  Ensure effective referral source liaison and communication within legal/ethical requirements regarding requested screenings.  Assist potential patients/referral sources in security appropriate treatment disposition whether admitting to BHC or not.  Complete assigned referral/marketing reports.  Maintain an effective inquiry follow  up system.     

Job Requirements

At least three (3) years of nursing experience with at least one (1) year of nursing experience in psychiatric/chemical dependency setting.

Current RN license in the state of Texas.

Knowledge of Psychiatric/Chemical dependency treatment in the state of Texas, must be able to identify and address the special needs of adult and geriatric patients, must also be able to communicate effectively with the patient.
