Fremont Hospital is a 148 bed acute psychiatric hospital situated in the heart of the bay area in the city of Fremont. We currently seek an experienced behavioral health professional for our Adolescent Therapist opportunity (Part-Time, 20 – 30 hours per week with benefits). POSITION SUMMARY The Outpatient ServicesAdolescent Therapist is assigned a caseload of patients. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: group psychotherapy, psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, treatment planning, suicide/self harm assessment and reassessment, maintaining patient attendance to prescribed treatment, following-up to help ensure the safety of all patients, and ensuring documentation compliance. The therapist will conduct evidenced based CBT/DBT process, psychoeducaitonal, and activity groups. The therapist will conduct brief individual and family meetings. The therapist will conduct utilization reviews and help determine the appropriate level of care. The therapist coordinates the initiation of a Master Treatment Plan and updates that are consistent with the findings of initial assessments, ongoing assessments, treatment team meetings, and other documented observations. The therapist will participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings. The therapist will exercise sound judgment and clinical excellence, sustain therapeutic alliance, maintain appropriate therapeutic boundaries, and patient satisfaction. The therapist will be cross-trained and assigned, as determined by department need, in the Adult Program, CD-IOP Program, and Intake.
