At Cisco, our vision is to change the way people work, live, play and learn. The Business Collaboration & Software Platforms (BCSP) organization enables “Services Everything” by building software solutions for valued integrations, insights and intelligence and enable “Domains” to do what they need through common software practices.

We are looking for an Agile certified Release Train Engineer and Agile Coach who is experienced in coaching and leading teams through change to Agile methodologies.

You will be part of the Service Strategy and Transformation team, which is responsible for portfolio-level management and delivery of key IT initiatives.

This team is currently leading our 400+ person organization from traditional waterfall Program and Project Management methodologies to a delivery model aligned around the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).  You will be part of the team adapting Agile methodologies to enable not only software development teams, but also infrastructure and support organizations.  It is a truly unique opportunity!

You are experienced leading and planning a large Program Increment and coaching team members who are less experienced in Agile approaches. Ideally, we would like you to have experience that spans beyond software development and into true SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) portfolio management across a myriad of product and programs.

Act as a Release Train Engineer (RTE): per the standards defined using the SAFe framework. The RTE’s major responsibilities are to facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTEs communicate with partners, remove impediments, help manage risk, and drive committed improvement.
