The MHT is a key member of Coastal Behavioral Health Hospital.  The MHT participates in the development and implementation of patients' treatment plan by providing care and close supervision of facility patients and documenting behavior, by developing positive relationships with clients and co-workers and following facility policies and procedures, by implementing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention as necessary.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma with 3 years experience in behavioral or mental health.  Bachelor's degree in mental health counseling, psychology or social services strongly preferred and encouraged.
  • Have a strong understanding of adult mental and behavioral health
  • Be flexible
  • A healthy dose of patience
  • Demonstrated customer service abilities
