Position Summary:

We are a residential treatment center offering a comprehensive, integrated program that addresses the needs of the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Our system of care is personalized, evidence-based, and research-proven. Patients can self-reflect and find strength for life change amid the beauty of the expansive sky and the natural tranquility that characterizes our location.

FRN is currently seeking a Program Coordinator, to provide excellent event organizational skills for our patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships with patients that go beyond the residential treatment program. This position is located at Foundations Recovery Network’s facility, Black Bear Lodge Residential Treatment Facility, in Sautee, Georgia.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate Life Challenge/Heroes in Recovery (HiR) events
• Introduce patients to the Life Challenge program/Heroes in Recovery movement (present HiR collateral, brochures, speak to patient groups weekly and promote participation)
• Coordinate Life Challenge enrollment process
• Organize and attend quarterly Life Challenge/Heroes in Recovery events (develop program content, speakers and entertainment, activities, thank-you gifts)
• Coordinate event communications (event and meeting invitations and follow-up)
• Communicate Life Challenge/HiR referral contact information to the Community and Life Challenge Relations Manager
• Participate in weekly Life Challenge Team meetings 
• Stay in regular communication with patients after discharge
• Document all follow-up communication using Long Jump or other designated CRM software
• Organize and attend four to six large marketing events per year (Professionals’ Weekends, Holiday Celebrations, Annual Reunions, etc.)
• Develop program content in cooperation with clinical staff
• Minimum of one annual Life Challenge reunion
• Extend speaker invitations and handle honorarium, travel arrangements and lodging
• Book entertainment and organize off-site activities
• Manage guest lists create and send invitations
• Coordinate travel and lodging for guests
• Plan menus and hire caterers
• Hire event photographers
• Purchase and organize thank-you gifts
• Follow-up with attendees
• Support planning and logistics for monthly Family Weekends
• Help coordinate travel and lodging for guests
• Coordinate Facility Tours
• Conduct admissions tours for potential patients and families
• Connect with regional Business Development Representatives to schedule and conduct tours for potential business prospects if the Business Development Representative is not able to be present
• Attend bi-annual Life Challenge team summits
• Company Life Challenge team training, and Industry Life Challenge training (TPAS)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrates professional behavior and interpersonal skills reflective of FRN mission statement and philosophy
• Adheres to the JCAHO standards
• Awareness of the challenges and issues people face with addiction and mental illness and commitment to helping people overcome the barriers to treatment
• Embraces and champions a Patient Centered Care focus throughout the organization.
• Consistently demonstrates through conduct and communications the stability required to credibly and effectively assists patients
• Understands need for and maintains appropriate confidentiality at all times when interacting with alumni, families, and all other contacts
• Knowledgeable of Patient Rights; treats all patients with dignity and respect in a consistent, courteous manner
• Must have strong presentation/speaking skills with experience addressing both small and large audiences (a dedicated advocate willing to speak out on behalf of the program’s goals and needs)
• Motivated self-starter capable of working independently without close supervision
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload
• Ability to adapt to changes in staff and work setting
• Sound judgment and ability to make wise decisions on behalf of the program and company
• Responsible financial management; acts as a good steward of allocated budget resources
• Ability to build relationships with diverse individuals and groups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Ability to inspire confidence in the FRN Staff and the FRN Model of Treatment
• Proficiency in MS Office, including CRM tools and Social Media (Facebook, Twitter)


Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business or Communications
• 1-3 years experience in communications and marketing required, preferably in behavioral health or other healthcare setting
• Experience in addiction or psychiatric treatment field highly preferred
• Event planning and hospitality experience preferred
• Familiarity with CRM databases (preferably Long Jump), computer-based medical records, Microsoft Office
• Additional experience with marketing communications including writing, editing and design
