Job Details

**Responsible for ensuring successful performance of the supply and delivery chain for assigned portfolio of products within the assigned markets. Execute activities for improvement initiatives related to supply & inventory management to support achievement of commercial goals for the region and markets in scope.**

+ Accountable for Supply Assurance of assigned portfolio of products (typically smaller and/or less complex than portfolio of Sr. Supply planners)

+ Accountable for Inventory planning and coordination of inventory deployment for assigned markets

+ Support completion of Product change lifecycle management activities requiring supply input

+ Execute activities for supply-related or other assigned improvement initiatives

+ Alignment with AMP HUB Senior Planner and local market requirements to prioritize deployment process in assigned markets.

**Supply Assurance (for assigned product portfolio)**

+ Continuously monitor and ensure product supply of assigned products

+ Proactively identify supply risks by updating supply outlook.

+ Monitor and Maintain In Market Tracking Tool in order to identify possible risks.

+ Drive communication and resolution of supply issues with stakeholders using standard processes (e.g. e-alerts, weekly calls with market/plants)

+ Escalate risks to AMP Team Lead as needed (based on urgency, impact, complexity...)

+ Proactively understand demand drivers and supply implications from forecast changes

+ Partner with AMP Team Lead and AMP Hub Senior Supply Planners to drive:

+ Resolution of escalated risks with stakeholders

+ Resolution of escalated issues in SCA

+ Changes in transportation mode **Inventory management and deployment (for assigned product portfolio)**

+ Minimize inventory write-offs. Monitor and manage inventory shelf-life/expiry dates, and actively improve processes to avoid obsolescence write-offs

+ Ensure in market inventory is actively managed and expired or short dated stock is appropriately, securely, compliantly and expeditiously disposed of on a physical and financial level

+ Coordinate and execute pre-shipment and post-shipment activities required in-market to have product available for sales in alignment with different stakeholders and defined responsibilities **such as Repacking and relabeling activities, domestic inter-company sales, quality release prioritization, etc.**

+ In Market activities coordination with local stakeholders including Quality, Regulatory and Logistics to ensure inventory availability and avoid stock outs.

+ Develop and maintain Packaging Materials Planning according to countries requirements. **Product change management (for assigned product portfolio)**

+ Proactively and continuously support product change activities (new launches, line extensions, Artwork changes, discontinuations, loss of exclusivity, etc) securing achievement of business objectives, service levels, costs and working capital requirements

+ **Point of contact for local market** Serve as point of contact to Market Lead and other in-market functions for any questions related to inventory deployment activities **Improvement initiatives**

+ Execute assigned activities related to supply or other improvement initiatives

**Key qualifications**

+ Relevant experience required in Supply and logistics management, ideally in pharmaceutical industry or other industries where it is required to align customer requirements with sales, marketing and finance:

+ 2+ years of relevant Supply planning, Logistics or Demand planning experience

**Technical skills valued:**

+ Understanding of pharmaceutical industry commercial dynamics, trends and regulatory processes

+ Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end global product flows

+ Understanding of Sales/Commercial/Marketing functional areas

+ Continuous improvement: Leadership of cost, operations and business improvement projects for Logistics & Supply processes

+ ERP/System implementations

+ Implementation of New business/distribution models

+ Local Logistics market knowledge (LSPs, transport)

+ Exposure to business finance

**Key capabilities**

+ Ability to effectively leverage systems and reporting tools

+ Analytical skills are required - ability to observe patterns and trends in data, determining root cause of issues and drawing proper conclusions from analysis

+ Ability to make good decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience and judgment

+ Ability to manage, track and drive resolution of supply issues as well as improvement initiatives in parallel

+ Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and build professional relationships at different levels of the organization and across different geographies

+ Ability to trade-off priorities within portfolio

+ Ability to build deep knowledge of portfolio of products and manufacturing plant capabilities

+ Ability to proactively identify supply risks - through data analysis and market demand characteristics

+ Oral and written communication skills to present complex issues, providing adequate level of information required at different levels and for different stakeholders

+ Ability to work in a complex matrix organization and within a multi-cultural environment, balancing needs of different stakeholders
