Main purpose of the role

This role will support the Indirects Category Sourcing Manager(s) in running their category sourcing agenda by providing market intelligence, using advanced sourcing tools, and peforming all type of data analysis. The Indirects Procurement Analyst is dedicated to MRO&FM category and will support GP Indirects Director Make in putting in place horizontal scroecards, and in all shared activities inside the team.
The role will also be the key user for all common tools cross categories.

In supporting the European Indirects Sourcing Manager(s) the Indirects Procurement Analyst will provide with:

  • High level analytical support on complex data needed for strategy development like spend data analysis, data management on suppliers to build an unique supplier data base, cost modeling, make or buy analysis, enterprises evaluation, suppliers balance sheets & results releases, etc.
  • Advise on e-sourcing strategies/tactics as well as being part of the sourcing team for a given project at a given time
  • Set up complex sourcing process by using advanced sourcing tools
  • Set up and clean data of sourcing events by collecting baseline data from the Regions, sending and receiving RFXs, follow-up suppliers answers, help and train suppliers on using the sourcing tool.
  • Ensure supplier reporting analysis for savings follow up and demonstration
  • Build standard and harmonized reporting and tools with peers
  • Develop Supplier performance and evaluation metrics and tracking.
  • Support the team in audit preparation, reporting and compliance requirements

In supporting the European Indirects MRO&FM Director the Indirects Procurement analyst will provide:
  • Standardized tools & template for the team
  • Common database to monitor the activity on MRO&FM
  • Newsletter on market trends
  • Monitoring on KPIs such as spend managed, locked spend, contracts renewal
  • Team meetings settings and support on agenda and benchmarking practices
  • Pro-actively monitor Productivity Plan with GP Director

Key responsibilities

The key accountabilities for this role include but are not restricted to:

Delivery of productivity targets:
  • Support in sourcing and negotiation as well as providing analytics

Category Management/Operational Excellence:
  • Provide support on sourcing projects by using advanced tools and systems
  • Provide and facilitate discussions on different e-sourcing strategies/tactics
  • Support with data gathering and RFX issuing
  • Provide analysis, including cost modeling, suppliers allocation scenarios, make or buy analysis, suppliers P&L and balance sheet analysis

Key Internal Stakeholder and External Supplier Management:
  • Engage with Regions & Suppliers to support data collection and tender analysis
  • Train suppliers in using PepsiCo sourcing tools
  • Support the sourcing of supply, negotiation of contracts and developing category strategies

Compliance, Policies and Reporting:
  • Embody the highest standards of compliance and ethics
  • Implement the PepsiCo Code of Conduct
  • Adhere to Corporate & Social Responsibility policies & procedures
  • Ensure compliance is met in contract management
  • Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, comply with GP Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls.
  • Efficiencies through implementation of standard tools and continuous improvement of Team share drive



  • University degree, MBA would be preferable
  • 3 years working experience in analytical role
  • Good understanding of the principles of general procurement management
  • Experienced in Excel is a must and familiar with procurement tools and e-sourcing tools (f.e. ARIBA, Selectica, Oracle or other)
  • Experience of working in and with multiple countries
  • Reporting, Financial, analytical and project management skills
  • Leadership and coaching skills
  • English as the working language, any other languages
