Our Customer Service Associates are primarily responsible for answering in-bound calls from contract holders and financial professionals. This position is considered an entry point, and it has a proven track record of launching many successful careers within Prudential.
Training is typically 12 weeks and includes 3 weeks of training specific to the FINRA Series 6 and 63 licensing exams. Associates then normally experience a three month learning curve. Our Associates attain a thorough understanding of the investment/annuity business. They must also learn various administrative PC systems, become thoroughly familiar with our annuity products, understand applicable tax regulations, process certain financial transactions, and become well versed in processing requirements.
Our next class will be starting in April 2017. The training hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 5:15pm. Upon completion of training, candidates must have the flexibility to be able to work any of the shift times within our business hours of Monday to Thursday, 8am - 7pm, and Fridays 8am - 6pm.
- Position requires FINRA Series 6 and 63 license or to obtain license within 150 days of hire.
- Four year college degree preferred.
- Ability to think like the financial professional and customer, with a passion to deliver top quality service.
- Proven record of dependability. Punctual and reliable attendance of the Customer Service Associates is critical to the success of a fast moving inbound service center.
- Annuity/financial services industry knowledge is a plus.
- Must be able to learn and retain a large amount of technical information in a relatively short period of time.
- Possess strong relationship building skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to excel in a team environment, as well as work well independently.
Job offer is contingent upon successful completion of pre-hire requirements including a full background check.
Actual shift assignments will not be determined prior to hire.
This position and the training (which is fully paid) will be located at the Dresher, PA office.
