Prudential Annuities is currently seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join its sales team. As a Sales Support Associate (SSA), you will work in the corporate office on a vibrant team of like-minded, customer-focused individuals. In this fast-paced, constantly changing, highly visible role, you will support our Regional Sales Consultants (RSC) as they help financial professionals understand our investment solutions and get the most out of their business relationships with Prudential.
In this role, you will:
  • Prepare illustrations, hypotheticals and calculator proposals for FAs and/or Sales personnel
  • Partner with RSC’s to effectively coordinate territory sales & marketing events, such as client seminars, continuing education meetings and roadshows
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Prudential Annuities investment solutions, marketing sales strategies, systems and applications to fully support RSCs’ and external wholesalers’ inquiries
  • Once licensed, function as a back-up to phone coverage for Inbound Sales Consultants (ISC)
  • Receive immediate training as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring from experienced members of the sales team in order to equip yourself with the essential sales and leadership skills necessary for success in this role
  • Work with RSC’s and the Service organization to help resolve service/operational issues

  • BA/BS strongly preferred.
  • Desire and curiosity to learn about annuities and other investment products and services, as well as general investment and securities concepts
  • Strong level of written and verbal communication skills required to prepare and present sales plans and materials, provide technical information regarding products and services, and develop sales presentations
  • Ability to multitask and work under time constraints
  • Self-motivated and team-focused
  • Flexibility, resourcefulness, tactfulness, and a desire to continuously improve
  • Emergent sales acumen and the desire/ability to generate sales opportunities. Must be confident, persuasive and credible over the phone and in person.
  • Strong familiarity with computer applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • FINRA Series 6, 63 and State Insurance license (or able to obtain within 150 days)
