Description ROLE SUMMARY

Performs required duties in operating a variety of equipment used in the micronizing, drying, mixing and/or combining of chemicals to manufacture finished pharmaceuticals in assigned area of the division. Dependent on area of assignment, this includes the combining or processing of a wide variety of raw and intermediary materials used in the manufacturing of finished pharmaceutical products and packaging of finished APIs and intermediates. Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks in support of the Department mission.



ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES



**Functional/Technical Knowledge:** Knowledge of basic disciplines. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.

**Problem Solving and Innovation:** Develops solutions to routine problems following established Pfizer policies and procedures.

**Discretion, Latitude, Level of Independence:** Closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.

**Impact and Organizational Contribution:** Contributes to the completion of routine tasks.

**Teamwork/Influence:** Contacts are primarily within immediate work group or within normal process-related work flow, but can include various enabling groups.

**Time Span of Work:** Daily tasks and deliverables. Results can usually be measured on a daily or weekly basis.



QUALIFICATIONS



+ **Education:** High school diploma / general education degree (GED)

+ **Experience:** Completion of Formulation operator training and required on the job experience as a Formulation Operator Assistant

+ **Certificates, Licenses or Registrations:** Fork-lift certification, as required

+ **Language Skills:** Effective written and oral communication

+ **Computer Skills:** Microsoft Applications

+ **Physical Demands:** Considerable standing, walking, climbing of stairs and ladders, lifting and moving of containers up to 25 kg

+ **Work Environment:** Frequent exposure to airborne particles; must work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Use of hearing and eye protection is required.



OTHER



+ Physical Demands: Considerable standing, walking, climbing of stairs and ladders, lifting and moving of containers up to 25 kg.

+ When needed, 7 day work weeks with up to 12 hour shifts

+ Work Environment: Frequent exposure to airborne particles; must work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Use of hearing and eye protection is required.

+ Certificates, Licenses or Registrations: Fork-lift certification preferred

+ Language Skills: Effective written and oral communication
