Description Focuses on revenue growth from IOT Strategic Services within a defined territory or an account portfolio aligned at a Sales Center. Develops IOT opportunities, customer relationships and anticipates client concerns/roadblocks to closing sales. Works closely with account team, and also independently to identify opportunities

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

1. Focuses on revenue growth of IOT for account(s) within a defined territory or an account portfolio aligned at a Sales Group level (e.g., assigned segment, territory or account base).

2. Supports Business Development and sales teams by leading technical discussions in client and vendor meetings across multiple levels and disciplines to identify business and technical needs, issues and priorities. Translate customer requirements into IoTS PD technical requirement. The incumbent is responsible for finding the best solutions that would support customer needs while offering products and services that provide best profit margin for AT&T that are in compliance with all company guidelines and policies.

3. Develops customer relationship and anticipates client concerns/roadblocks to closing sales. Typically invited into a sales opportunity, by account team, vs. actively pursuing opportunities. May pursue some opportunities independently as well as, over time, train sales force to sell products independently (i.e., without Application Sales Executive involvement).

4. Ownership in technical support through the life cycle of the product/service. Provide technical expertise in customer presentations, product demonstrations, and installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications

5. Develops relationships with Client CIO’s, CxO, and Lines of Business Owners (HR, Marketing, Finance). Has direct relationship with AT&T’s key partners/vendors in various technology areas to facilitate the development of full, robust customized solutions.

6. Collaborates with cross functional teams and customers in the design, implementation, and deployment of end to end solutions. Responsible for the end to end service validation, acceptance testing. Troubleshooting, consults on technical issues pre- and post-launch.

7. Travel up to 30%

**Key Competencies and Skills:**

- Experience in selling IOT

- In-depth experience in wireless service and architecture design in global IOT space.

- Extensive knowledge/experience on wireless technology (GSM, 3G, LTE, IMS, etc) network and devices, transport, VPN, IT, billing systems.

- Hands-on experience with network and device test equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills

- In-depth knowledge in AT&T wireline services / products (AVPN, etc)

- Highly motivated self-starter, willing to take ownership and drive for deliverables

- confident and comfortable with customer, peer, and leadership interaction with excellent communication skills, excellent inter-personal skills

- Innovative and think outside of the box

- strong relationship building skills to effectively work in all areas of the business to successfully perform the required duties.

- Process a strong business acumen and aptitude to understand the key business drivers and financial knowledge to development return on investment models.

- strong attention to detail required ensuring effective planning, implementation and execution.

- strong technical background in telecommunications, IT service provider industry.

**Education and Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering with the preferred candidate possessing a technical master's degree or proven strong business skills
