The staff at Anchor Hospital serves as compassionate guides who provide for our patients’ clinical needs. The position requires internal marketing, effective communication with insurance companies, efficient communication with referral sources, and overall excellent service to patients and other callers/visitors. Responsibilities include assessment of risk and need of those who present for care; provision of treatment recommendation; immediate patient/client disposition; arranging hospital transfer/discharge; and making outpatient referrals and/or making connections to other community agencies and resources. Other responsibilities include being able to perform all aspects of the hospital’s assessment and referral process, including efficient and effective management of crisis calls and other telephone inquiries.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications 1. Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in counseling, social work, or marriage and family
