Position Summary:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:                       &am p;am p;am p;nb sp;                       &am p;am p;am p;nb sp;                       &am p;am p;am p;nb sp;               

·         Oversees the delivery of student, continuing care and family services, including developing program schedules, coordinating the activities of a multi-disciplinary team, and maintaining a therapeutic milieu.

·         Handles staffing for the Residential Program, including interviewing and hiring staff, scheduling staff weekly, monthly, orienting new unit staff, assigning duties and monitoring performance, and counseling ineffective employees.

·         Monitors PTO for all residential staff and enters data into the Krono’s system.

·         Manages proper FTE’s and overtime.  Helps in the process to eliminate mandations.

·         Provides training as needed for staff and students.

·         Establishes CQI monitoring criteria, and participates in CQI activities.

·         Oversee the activities of the Residential Managers, 21 Intervention Specialist, Recreational Activities and Maintenance.

·         Assists RM and Shift supervisors in the corrective action process for staff as needed.

·         Monitors the physical environment for safety, cleanliness and aesthetics to include efforts to make the living area more home-like and the elimination of graffiti and other property destruction.

 

 
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in health administration, education, or management field.   The successful candidate will have 1-3  years’ experience working in an residential or substance abuse setting with youth, and at least 1-3 years of progressive supervisory experience.   Certifications in Verbal De-escalation, HWC and Residential Youth Care Professionalism a plus.
