Leads and manages the development department. Defines the goals and objective for the development department and responsible for the execution of these goals. Manages the group within its budget constraints in an effective manner.


·Define team structure, senior team leader and team leader responsibilities according the department needs. Assign available positions to the different teams.Define new roles and teams when needed.

·Responsible for defining the budget needs and the budget execution.Planning the budget needs based on the planned roadmap, defining the software, recruitment, consulting and outsource and Hardware needs.

·Responsible for Technology leadership of the group. Defines the technological vision and roadmap for the product. Ensuring that the development group is always at the cutting edge of technology.Assign research goals and technology targets for teams in the department.

·Responsible for the deliverables of the development department and their quality. Define targets technological guidelines and quality standards for the managers in the group. Review execution, quality and ecological correctness of the deliverables of the different teams and provide guidance for the managers in the group.

·Lead the Development department management team. Define personal goals and objectives for senior team leaders. Provide technological and management skill guidance to the different managers in the team. Define the management values and best practices for the development management team

·Key member in the Client Application Development organization management group. Key contributor the product vision and roadmap. Contribute to strategic decisions for other R&D departments. Manage interfaces with AT&T labs teams, AT&T Research, Product management, partners and suppliers.

·The overall performance of the holder of this position is measured by the performance of the development department - Deliverables being provided on schedule and in high quality. Additional aspects are: the innovative solutions that are developed in the department, the improvements in the efficiency of the departments work, and the improvement in the professional level of the work force in the department achieved either by internal development plans or recruiting. Weekly status reports are part of our standards protocol to insure on- time schedule, productivity level, goals, deliveries, objectives and activities. Quarterly and yearly meetings are used to review high level results.

**Minimum Requirements**

·BS in Computer Science or related field or MBA preferred

·10+ years of proved experience in management teams and senior managers

·Proven experience in building and motivating teams

·Development background (Client, Mobile development is advantage)

·Deep knowledge at Agile methodology

·Excellent soft skills

·Experience with managing remote teams

**Desired Qualifications**

·Deep knowledge with advance DevOps techniques

·Ability to work independently with effective time management in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

·Ability to work across teams and with remote teams \#LI-DF
